St James Place is situated on Norwich’s inner ring road, providing convenient road, bus, rail and air links with the rest of the UK and internationally. Norwich International Airport offers flights to an increasing number of national and international destinations, including 4 daily (45 minute) flights to Schiphol, from where worldwide connections can be made.
Norwich Railway station is a short riverside walk from St James Place. A National Express rail service operates between Norwich and London Liverpool Street, with a journey time of 1 hour 54 minutes. There are 3 trains per hour at peak times. There is a direct hourly rail link to Cambridge and the journey takes 74 minutes. Recent dualling of the A11 has improved links with Cambridge, London and Stansted.
The A47 offers links to the west, to Kings Lynn and Peterborough. The A140 links us to the south with Ipswich, Colchester, Chelmsford, and Felixstowe.
St James Place connects to Norwich’s extensive footpath and cycleway network, whilst two park and ride bus routes, from the Airport and Sprowston stop close by.
The city centre and cathedral quarter are easily accessed on foot or bicycle via the multi-award winning Jarrold Bridge.
